How Life of Media 360 Makes Complex Services Understandable with Explainer Videos

Getting to Know and Preparation

Thassilo Seeboth, CEO of RiQS AG, was referred to us by Siddik Turhalli. Siddik had already used our services in the form of animated videos. Learning about this, Thassilo expressed interest in creating engaging animation videos for the RiQS app. He faced a common challenge: explaining complex services in a way that the target audience could easily understand while recognizing the value of the offering.After several scheduled calls, a comprehensive project deal was finalized for a total of 12 videos: six for the German market and six in English for the international market.

Scriptwriting and Concept Development

The RiQS app offers a wide range of useful features focused on various applications in the healthcare sector. These include:

Process Management: RiQS helps organize and document workflows efficiently, enabling the integration of standards and simplifying the onboarding process for new employees.

Risk Management: The app raises awareness of potential vulnerabilities and supports a transparent error management culture.

Quality Management: It ensures compliance with legal requirements and provides relevant information at the right time.

Action Management: Management can use the app to create, assign, and track actions.

The need for RiQS arises from the complexity and high demands in the healthcare sector. Hospitals, outpatient clinics, care facilities, and medical practices often face the challenge of meeting legal requirements, optimizing processes, and ensuring high treatment quality at the same time. RiQS provides a central platform that addresses all these needs while helping save time and resources. The app is aimed at healthcare professionals such as quality managers, doctors, nursing staff, and administrators who want to improve their workflows and minimize risks.

To showcase the versatility of the app, the specific features had to be narrowed down and thematically organized for the videos. Individual scripts were created for each area, which went through several feedback loops between our team and the RiQS team, led by Thassilo Seeboth. At the same time, visual proposals were developed and discussed. We agreed to design the videos as a combination of animations to visualize processes and real stock footage. This blend creates a closer connection with potential clients and makes the videos more relatable to the target audience.

Implementation and Video Creation

The videos were created entirely in Adobe After Effects, as this tool is ideal for complex animations. For the German videos, a voiceover artist from Hamburg was chosen. The RiQS team had a clear vision for the visualization, which naturally led to several rounds of revisions. However, our approach is clear: there is no "good" or "bad" – only different perspectives and options. Thanks to the objective and well-founded communication, every change was implemented seamlessly. The close collaboration ensured an optimal result.

After the completion of the German videos, the English versions were produced. For this, a voiceover artist from Los Angeles was hired to give the videos an international touch. The approval and final sign-off were done promptly, ensuring that the project was completed on time.

Results

The finished videos have proven to be real value drivers. At trade fairs, they attract the attention of visitors and make the RiQS booths a crowd magnet. Displaying the videos on large screens optimally utilizes the medium of "video" and creates significantly more attraction than static advertising banners.

The videos are prominently integrated on the product page of the RiQS website, significantly boosting the conversion rate. Videos have been proven to expand the "top of the funnel" by creating a clear understanding. Ultimately, personal consultations and the sales team play a decisive role in the purchasing decision. However, without the videos, many potential customers wouldn't even take the first step, as the value of RiQS would remain unclear to them.
