Getting to know each other and preparation

In November 2023, Jochen Kraus, Managing Director of MR Datentechnik, attended a lecture on Artificial Intelligence (AI) at the District Office of Forchheim. This lecture, presented by Sven Steger from Life of Media 360, addressed the ways in which companies can enhance their visibility and achieve their goals more quickly through the use of AI. The four-hour lecture offered valuable insights into optimizing business processes with modern technologies. Immediately afterward, an initial exchange took place between Jochen Kraus and Sven Steger, which eventually led to a first introductory meeting. Shortly thereafter, a meeting with the marketing team of MR Datentechnik, with the presence of Jochen Kraus, took place.

Analysis of the current state

At the beginning of the collaboration, the digital current state of MR Datentechnik was analyzed. It became apparent that the existing website was not only slow but also needed a fresh, modern look. Furthermore, it was found that there had been little activity in the areas of video production and animation— a crucial factor in operating the website and social media channels according to the latest standards. Another important point was the issue of tracking.

Until then, tracking had been limited to Google Analytics, which was insufficient to adequately analyze customer flows, audience behavior, and click paths. However, this data is essential for carrying out targeted advertising campaigns. Additionally, the topic of AI was discussed, where a need for improvement was identified to increase the efficiency of employees and managers in their day-to-day operations. Since MR Datentechnik primarily operates in the B2B sector and has built an impressive empire over the last 30 years with seven locations (2023 revenue: 220 million euros), the need for action was quickly recognized, and the discussions swiftly progressed to the next phase.

Order and Implementation

In December 2023, MR Datentechnik commissioned a complete overhaul of their website. Additionally, they ordered the production of a timeline video that visually and appealingly showcases MR Datentechnik's 30th anniversary.
Since the Melle location was also celebrating its 25th anniversary, two trailer videos were produced for the respective event. These videos were not only created but also strategically distributed through social media. Another highlight was an aftermovie of the event, which was subsequently shared across all relevant channels, generating significantly more attention.

As part of this collaboration, the topics of Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads were also discussed. After several consultations, MR Datentechnik decided to seek further support from Life of Media 360 in these areas as well. Due to the number of projects and their associated complexity, it was eventually decided to enter into a monthly service contract. This contract, signed at the end of May 2024, includes ongoing support in the areas of advertising, media production, and consulting. Since then, Life of Media 360 has been extensively working for MR Datentechnik, supporting the company in all necessary areas.

Results

The new website of MR Datentechnik was successfully completed six months after the order was placed.

It is characterized by fast loading times, an appealing design, and optimized user navigation.
MR Datentechnik's extensive offerings are now presented in a compact and clear manner across different sectors. Additionally, the Hubspot CRM system was successfully integrated into the website via an iFrame to ensure seamless tracking of contacts.

The overall management of the new website on behalf of MR Datentechnik was taken over by MR Datentechnik employee Silke Schreier, supported by her colleague Nicole Burkhardt (copywriting). Technical support came from Olga Neuwert and Marco Lingl, both employees and service providers of MR Datentechnik. The combination of internal know-how and specific brand knowledge with the external expertise of Life of Media 360 in the areas of Elementor, animation, video production, tracking, and Hubspot, along with a strict focus on rapid implementation, led to the swift creation of a new, modern website that impressively showcases the seven locations of MR Datentechnik.

Additionally, the modernization of the content strategy has already achieved remarkable results and received positive feedback. In particular, the animated promotional videos for the major events have proven to be real eye-catchers and have significantly increased the conversion rate.

In combination with the proper tracking of the website and social media channels, this strategy creates true measurability and provides structured data for future actions. The collaboration between MR Datentechnik and Life of Media 360 has thus not only led to a significant improvement in the company's digital presence but also laid the foundation for a successful, long-term partnership.
